Adam Herbison

Adam is an experienced physiotherapist, based in Whangarei, who is passionate about treating all types of injuries from acute accidents to chronic pain. He enjoys helping people to reach their best possible outcome through a hands-on approach and a good understanding of manual therapy and sports medicine.

Adam has experience working with a large range of conditions, including:

  • post-surgical rehab

  • arthritis

  • headaches

  • dizziness

  • back and neck pain

  • sprains, strains and fracture rehab

  • nerve related issues (including carpel tunnel).

He also has experience with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Stroke, TBI and concussion. Adam enjoys seeing people get the best out of their recovery.

Adam is really passionate about working as a physiotherapist. He first found his passion for physiotherapy through experiencing his own injuries from running, calisthenics, surfing and competing internationally in Taekwon-Do.

Charlotte Witts

SKILLED PHYSIOTHERAPIST WHANGAREI

Charlotte has recently come from England where she qualified and began her physiotherapy career. She has now joined our busy Physiotherapy Clinic in Whangarei.

In England, she worked as a rotational physiotherapist at the biggest major trauma centre hospital in the South West of England. This Enabled her to gain valuable skills and experience during her time in ICU, Respiratory, Stroke, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Vascular and Surgery as well as General Medicine. This experience has evolved into a passion to treat and manage post-surgical injuries effectively and safely.

As part of Charlotte’s post-graduate study, she went on to study a Diploma in sports massage, where she further developed effective manual therapy and soft tissue manipulation techniques. Combining this with her Physiotherapy knowledge, she has a deep understanding of human anatomy & physiology and treatment of sport and occupational injuries and a variety of pain relief techniques.

Charlotte is passionate about problem solving, hands on physiotherapy and making rehab as functional and enjoyable as possible.

Charlotte has been dancing since she was 4 and although she has stepped back from performing, this has given her a sound understanding of injury prevention, knowledge of mobility and flexibility exercises, core strengthening exercises and effective injury rehab exercises.
